🇩🇪 | Auch wenn die Leipziger Buchmesse dieses Jahr nicht stattfindet, hat uns das aber nicht abgehalten, mit @tolino_media die Diskussion rund um das Thema „Mit Pinsel, Peitsche, und Pistole — Archäologie in den Medien“ trotzdem zustande zu bringen (das Video dazu findet ihr auf der Webseite von @tolino_media). Deswegen werden wir passend zu diesem Video in den nächsten Tagen ein paar Einblicke in den Alltag der angesprochenen Grabungen geben. Und weil das Thema „WCs“ aufgekommen ist und wir gefragt wurden, ob es denn auch auf Grabungen immer ein WC oder Bad gebe, ist hier gleich mal ein Beispiel, wie es das aussehen kann. Diese Fotos sind auf einer Grabung in der Mongolei 2004 entstanden.

🇬🇧 | Even though the Leipzig book fair was cancelled for this year, we still discussed „Mit Pinsel, Peitsche und Pistole — Archäologie in den Medien“ (With brush, whip and pistol — archaeology in the media) with @tolino_media. You can find the video of that on the @tolino_media website. Going with the topic of the video, we will share some insights of the mentioned excavations over the next few days. And because the topic of toilets and bathrooms in general came — it was asked if there were any on excavation sites — we wanted to take the opportunity and share an example of what a bathroom might look like during an excavation. These pictures were taken in Mongolia in 2004.
