July 18 — Today #CampNaNoOrNot20 asks about our favourite scene in our WIP. For obvious reasons, this is a little hard to tell you without giving away too much 😉 There is a scene, quite close towards the end where our protagonist, Peter Conrad, discovers a dreadful secret about a close friend. That scene was pretty damned hard to write but we really like the outcome now, which really is *two* scenes with overlapping parts so the reader gets to know both sides of the story in this place. This scene is also the pivotal point for Conrad in understanding the crimes that are happening all around them, or rather in figuring out who the perpetrator is. So this scene is both, emotionally intense as well as very important for the entire plot. . ✖️ #StillerStiller #StillerBooks #PeterConrad #CampNaNoOrNot20 #reading #key #confrontation #archaeology #indie #1980s #amwriting #ColdWarFiction #crimefiction #Krimi #favourite #Venice #challenge #Autorenleben #KalterKrieg #ArchäologenalsErmittler #Krimireihe ✖️ @juliascottwrites ✖️ @btleditorial ✖️
